Process Heating Specialist FREEK “Ignites Innovation Fireworks” on K Show
Friedrich Freek GmbH, together with its Italian EUCOPET co-operation partner Euroheat s.r.l., presents on 50 m² (hall 11, stand A01)
the complete range of innovative industrial heating elements at the forthcoming K show.
Especially in the sector of hot runner heating elements and flexible heater mats, visitors can look forward to numerous innovations and fair novelties.
Among their developments, the German based heating specialists will highlight the new compact HotMicroCoil-standard dia. 2.0 mm resp.
1.4 x 2.4 mm with exit on one side. Wherever exact and even heat distribution along the mass channel is required, developers and design
engineers will enjoy this new standard. |

For micro injection moulding as well as for short cavity distances, Freek recommends its HotMicroCoil-standard dia. 1.3 mm resp. 1.0 x 1.6 mm
with exit on both sides. In this form, wattages as low as 100 W (at 230 V) can be distributed in as little as 250 mm heated length. Available complete as
reflection tube system at just 1.3 mm total wall thickness the coiled 1.0 x 1.6 mm HotMicroCoils enjoy more and more admirers.
Freek felt that the "high power sector" of the HotMicroCoil-range could be further enlarged as well. Consequently their designers succeeded
in considerably increasing the power density of the well-established HotMicroCoil-standard dia. 3.3 mm resp. 2.2 x 4.2 mm. For example, in the
type 2.2 x 4.2 mm a power of more than 1.5 kW at a length of 1300 to 1800 mm is possible.
Freek manufactures more than 50% of its nozzle heaters as complete systems. With case, clamp band or reflection tube. Joint, pressed, or soldered.
With or without laser printing. With or without thermocouple. In the range of its nozzle heaters, Freek promises visitors a “market of possibilities”.
For hot runner and mould makers with a focus on high-cavity preforms and caps, we highly recommend that sufficient time be planned for visiting the Freek stand,
Straight tubular heaters to bend by oneself and to fit into hot-channel distribution plates, attract more and more producers of hot runners and moulds and
have consistently increased their market share in this application. At the end of the 1990s, Freek was one of the first to develop flexible square tubular
heaters for this application and introduced them to a broad public. Now, since the market demands the advantages of this technology in larger scale,
the Germans have set their supply of stock items on a bigger foundation and, with various cross sections and materials, offer perfect solutions for that purpose.
As a last, but no less interesting show highlight, Freek introduces their new polyester heater mats, which are an ideal supplement to silicone heater mats.
With these – on request self-regulating heaters – Freek now have new opportunities in applications where silicone heaters due to their
specifications were outsized or too expensive.
