Characteristics of our HMC with reflection tube are easy mounting and variable heat distribution. Because of its direct touch and the tight fit, the heaters allows an optimal heat transmission to the nozzle. In all our HMC with reflection tube the assembly of a thermocouple is possible.

    Our MicroCoil with shackle clamp band can be clamped axially with a cam shackle. With four common power levels it covers all nozzle standards of hot runner systems.

    Note: For fixing we recommend our tool AXWZ.001 (see picture).

    Freek manufactures besides its own systems also original Rosemount systems, for example the two screw clamp band (FB) and the axial clamp band (FE). Both systems can be supplied with Microcoils in "Rosemount style" (Ø 1,4 mm) as well as Microcoils in "Freek style" ( 1,3 x 2,3 mm).

    2.3.5 "Brazed Together" Housing (BT)

    The "Brazed together" housing is like the „Axial (FE)“- and the
    „Two-Screw (FB)“ clamp-band originally a Rosemount system.
    Therefore, apart from our Freek MicroCoil 1,3 x 2,3 mm, we can also install the MicroCoil Ø  1,4 mm “Rosemount style”. The heater is brazed in high vacuum process to a good heat-transmitting precision inner housing and is insulated by an outer reflection tube.

    This construction combines many advantages: optimal fit, good heat transmission, high power density and mechanical stability.

    The "Kappa series“ is an original nozzle heater system of our EUCOPET co-operation partner Thermetic Products Inc. USA, which we assemble at Freek as well.

    Thermetic's Kappa series are constructed with a nickel plated copper inner sleeve and a stainless outer sleeve. The heater is tightly sandwiched between these sleeves eliminating the heat transfer problems associated with other dual sleeved designs. The material used direct the heat inward toward the nozzle, resulting in a very efficient heater with even heat distribution. The tightly toleranced ID allows a slip fit with no clamping required.
